The project explores how traditional architectural principles can be interpreted in a contemporary home while maintaining openness, comfort and a close relationship with nature.
Ilavenil responds to the local climate through shaded spaces, deep verandahs, courtyards and carefully framed openings. The design seeks to create calm, comfortable interiors while strengthening the relationship between indoor and outdoor living.
